Designing the 1968 Military Car with Lincoln Elegance
When envisioning a concept for a 1968 military car, my goal was to blend the ruggedness needed for military purposes with the luxurious and elegant elements seen in Lincoln's best models. The sharp lines and smooth curves of the Lincoln Continental provided the perfect base to work from, offering a refined silhouette that could still embody the power and presence needed on a battlefield. My design sought to elevate the car's status by incorporating a classic, high-end chrome finish, keeping the military context in mind while embracing the comfort and prestige associated with premium vehicles.
I drew inspiration from Lincoln's bold, boxy design from the late 60s and combined that with functional military features like reinforced armor and heavy-duty tires. The result was a seamless fusion of opulence and durability. The body structure, with its long and imposing form, pays homage to Lincoln's top-tier sedans, while strategically integrating tactical elements like camouflage patterns and tactical lights. The goal was to create a vehicle that could exude luxury but also maintain the necessary military fortitude for harsh environments and demanding situations.
