Concept Van: A Blend of Porsche Elegance and Innovation

Designing a van concept for 1981, I was keen on blending the sporty performance of Porsche models with the practical utility of a van. The sleek lines and aggressive stance were derived from the 911 and 924, giving it a low, wide profile. However, unlike traditional vans, the rear quarter panels were sculpted to evoke a sense of speed and luxury, integrating Porsche's signature curves into the overall design. This vehicle had to make a statement, combining sportiness with the spaciousness expected of a van.

For the interior, I envisioned a luxurious cabin that rivaled the finest Porsche models. Leather upholstery and wood accents created an atmosphere of sophistication, while the dashboard was designed with cutting-edge technology, borrowing elements from the Porsche 928's modern dashboard aesthetics. The goal was to give the driver and passengers a sense of opulence without sacrificing the sporty and energetic vibe that Porsche is known for. The result is a concept that combines performance, luxury, and functionality in a way that's never been seen before in a van.
