Designing a Tech Noir Crossover Concept with Rolls-Royce Influence

In designing this 2015 Crossover concept, I sought to blend the unmistakable luxury and prestige of Rolls-Royce with the futuristic, dark aesthetics of Tech Noir. The challenge was to create a vehicle that embodied elegance, drawing on Rolls-Royce's classic elements, such as the iconic grille and elongated, sweeping lines, while integrating modern angular shapes and sleek surfaces that evoke the noir-tech landscape. The vehicle's silhouette combines the regal proportions of Rolls-Royce with a cutting-edge, almost mysterious appearance, achieving an interplay between old-world charm and dystopian sophistication.

The interior design mirrors this duality, with rich, handcrafted materials juxtaposed with high-tech, minimalist interfaces. I wanted the cabin to feel like a blend of timeless luxury and the sleekness of future tech, where passengers would be surrounded by plush leather, polished wood, and high-definition digital displays. The aesthetic tension between softness and hardness in the materials used is intentional, lending the Crossover a sense of sophistication that is both forward-thinking and comfortably familiar, encapsulating the essence of prestige within a high-tech, yet elegant, package.
