The concept draws inspiration from iconic models like the Type 2 and the original Microbus, ensuring the character of Volkswagen's past is preserved. Using charcoal-style sketches, the wide, flowing lines evoke a sense of nostalgia, while sleek new features highlight the vehicle's versatility, making it adaptable to future needs while still feeling approachable for a wide range of people.

The 2029 concept focuses on the concept of accessibility and openness. The design allows for easy entry and exit, with sliding doors and a spacious interior layout that promotes social interaction and community.
