When approaching the concept design for a 2066 Crossover, the goal was to blend the reliability and ruggedness often attributed to Great Wall models with the bold geometry of the future. The design pulls from SUV and off-road aesthetics but challenges traditional forms, utilizing sharp lines and angular shapes that communicate both strength and advanced technology. The combination of geometric abstraction in the bodywork allows the crossover to appear both grounded in practicality and forward-thinking in terms of future design language.

The body's proportions focus on broad shoulders and a strong, stable stance, characteristic of a true off-roading vehicle but updated for the next generation. Elements of Great Wall's past models are subtly integrated, like their iconic grille design, which morphs into more abstract, streamlined shapes, reflecting the evolving relationship between rugged utility and modern convenience.
